Students at King’s Oak Academy take part in KPMG ‘Work Ready’ workshop
Year 11 students from King’s Oak Academy recently participated in an engaging and innovative workshop designed by KPMG to prepare them for the world of work.
KPMG firms operate in 143 countries and territories with more than 273,000 partners and employees working in member firms around the world.
Students tackled a collaborative problem-solving challenge based on real-life KPMG client briefs, incorporating cutting-edge technologies to devise creative solutions.
This hands-on experience offered them a unique insight into the evolving workplace and the transformative impact of technology on industries.
Throughout the workshop, students honed their core transferable skills, including teamwork, critical thinking, and effective communication. They also explored the potential of emerging technologies, equipping them with knowledge relevant to the modern workforce.
KPMG’s facilitator praised students for their exceptional performance, noting their professionalism and dedication to the tasks.
