King’s Oak Principal  on BBC Radio Bristol

As the new academic year commences, parents are being strongly encouraged to ensure their children return to school. Recent data has shown a significant increase in the number of children not attending school regularly since the COVID-19 pandemic, with Bristol experiencing some of the highest rates of absenteeism in the country.

Katherine Ogden, Principal of King’s Oak Academy, has been interviewed about this important issue by John Darvell from BBC Radio Bristol and Kath highlighted the importance of regular school attendance for children’s educational development and overall well-being.
