King’s Oak Academy students inspired at Babcock engineering festival
Sixty Year 8 students from King’s Oak Academy had an exciting opportunity to attend an Engineering Festival at Babcock, where they explored the dynamic world of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
During the event, students engaged in a series of hands-on activities, including problem-solving challenges, programming robots, and tackling STEM-based tasks.
They also had the chance to learn about a wide range of career opportunities within the engineering and technology sectors.
The experience proved to be both educational and inspiring, with many students expressing newfound enthusiasm for STEM-related careers.
