King’s Oak Academy celebrates democratic student council elections

King’s Oak Academy introduced students to the world of democracy with a successful student council election during UK Parliament Week.

All lower school pupils enthusiastically joining in with voting, debating, making speeches, and electing their representatives.

Miss Palmer-Turk, Lower School Student Council lead, was instrumental in organising the event, fostering a spirit of democratic participation and promoting British values.

In recognition of her work, Miss Palmer-Turk proudly received her UK Parliament week champion certificate.
