Clubs and Activities

We want our students to be fully rounded young people, and we offer a wide range of cultural and sporting activities both in school and outside school hours.  We want every child to take a full and active part in every aspect of school life.

Students are encouraged to take up some of the many enriching activities that we offer.  There are extra-curricular opportunities in Music, ICT, Drama, Art, Dance and Sport.  We run clubs at lunchtime and before and after school.  We are very proud of the success of our school sports teams, our outstanding music and our high quality productions, such as the Christmas Concert.

We also offer a wide range of day and residential visits, including geography field trips, visits to local businesses and universities, theatre visits and foreign language visits.

Homework Club is for supporting and encouraging the students at King’s Oak with their homework.  Students who need help with organisation and planning, access to IT facilities, a safe, friendly work place and a supportive environment are welcome at Homework Club.  It runs Monday to Thursday 3:15-4:15 pm and Fridays 3:15 – 4:00 pm in E13 and everybody is welcome.
