Christmas Jumper Day – Friday 13 December

UPDATE:  A total of £91 was collected on Christmas Jumper Day.

On Friday students will be able to wear their Christmas jumpers for a £1 voluntary donation for Save the Children.  The rest of their clothes and shoes should be proper school uniform.  This is not a non-uniform day, just swap your school shirt, tie and jumper for a Christmas jumper.

Join in with millions of people on Friday 13th December. Wear a Christmas jumper and get every single person you know to do the same! Please donate £1 – it will make a difference to so many children. Together, as one awesome team, we’ll be changing the actual future! https://www.savethechildren.org.uk/christmas-jumper-day/about

Visiting Music Teachers

On Wednesday 20th  March the Music Department welcomed five music teachers from Greece, Malta and Spain. They joined Mr Warren to discover more about music education here in the UK and to sample two lessons with some of our Year eight and nine students.

They commented on our excellent resources and very polite, welcoming students. We look forward to future liaison with their home schools.
